The goal of Insurance Association of America is to provide a broad range of services and plans to meet the needs of all Americans. You deserve the best, and we hope to provide you with that, and a little more with our FAQ's: Who likes to pay insurance? You’d have to be mad to enjoy forking out so much cash every month just so the huge companies can build bigger towers downtown. I don’t have a tower downtown. Why do they get one? Some reports claim that the auto insurance industry makes over 3 trillion dollars in profits annually. If my car is stolen, will they pay? If I get in an accident, will they pay? Do I understand the fine print in the policy? People complain about insurance companies and having to pay for insurance all the time. They get to be the bad guys, but are they all that bad? Should I refuse to pay for insurance?
First of all, it’s the law in most places now. You have to have insurance. If you don’t, you can’t register your car. In some places, if an officer finds out you don’t have insurance; your car will be taken from you on the spot. That’s no fun. So, even though you can drive around all day and get gas and get repairs, you still need insurance according to the law. It isn’t an immediate need, and it’s never needed by many people, but it is required. Consider the reasoning. You don’t always have to look both ways when you cross the road. You don’t always have to double check, but the one time you don’t, it can be disastrous. This is why the government steps in and enforces it.
What’s the big deal? Doctors for one. They’re expensive. When you break bones and get banged up, the pain is astounding. But, that will usually go away after weeks or months if you’re lucky. Doctor bills get big: sometimes 50 thousand and sometimes more. If you get out with a bill of 10 thousand dollars, you’re lucky. Who’s going to pay for that? Do you have 10 or 50 thousand extra dollars laying around to pay for your injuries? What about your passengers? What about the other car? Emergency rooms are incredibly expensive and several hundred dollars per day is not high if you are hooked up to any machines. Hopefully, we won’t have to know about this, but the insurance company can be our friend in these times. In fact, in times like this, we often wish we had paid them more, so we can get more help when we need it.
What if everyone is ok? No injuries, but the car looks terrible. Maybe the car is totaled: it needs to be replaced. Maybe it was your fault, maybe it wasn’t. Fixing a bent frame, replacing doors and panels gets costly. Re-doing all the paint (so you don’t look like a sitcom character driving around) gets very expensive. Sometimes the car will never look the same unless you spend the big bucks. Again, who’s your buddy? The insurance company is.
We don’t like to pay. We complain and we make them the bad guy too often. But, the insurance company can save your life when you need money for the hospital bills. They can replace your car with a shiny new one when you wreck it. Is insurance a necessity on the road? Yes, it certainly is.
Peggy Walter is a retired auto insurance agent with decades of experience under her belt. Since we understand that insurance is a necessity you’ll now need to calculate how much car insurance you actually need.

The goal of Insurance Association of America is to provide a broad range of services and plans to meet the needs of all Americans. You deserve the best, and we hope to provide you with that, and a little more with our FAQ's: In ancient Egyptian times, scribes, as they were known then, were coveted men who were trusted with confidential information about the lives of pharaohs, and prominent and respected men of their country. They were responsible for hieroglyphics, but they did so much more than that. They were teachers, and court reporters. Scribes were often well off, being paid handsomely for their talents, in gold, usually by per line scribed. Scribes never paid taxes, and may also have been trained priests. They made up legal contracts, kept track of hours worked for employers, and kept tax records. A scribe was also always a man. Not so anymore. Scribes are known as Administrative Assistants today.
The role of an administrative assistant in the modern world hasn’t changed that much in recent years, although the pay certainly has, and for the better. In the 1940’s, Wikipedia says that the average pay for a secretary, also known as a pink collar worker was about $37.00 per week. Because of the war, women pink collar workers’ pay decreased from $50.00, making it very difficult to survive. This brought on the Women’s Liberation Movement in the 1960’s and paved the way for equal pay in today’s society.
Depending on what area or field you work in, the pay rate can increase dramatically. The average administrative assistant who works for a small mom and pop company usually make between $20,000.00 and $25,000.00 per year, but some executive administrative assistants make over $100,000.00 per year. Long hours and irregular schedules usually occur when working as an executive administrative assistant.
An administrative assistant who works in a legal firm can make upwards of $30,000.00 to $35,000.00. The role of a legal administrative assistant varies, and is primarily focused on the lawyer’s needs and the client, and often involves correspondence between them, and the courts. Legal administrative assistants are also responsible to complete research for court cases, ensuring that the lawyer’s calendar is up-to date, that paperwork is filed and making appointments with new clients. They do background checks, deal with medical assessments, and ensure that all the necessary paperwork is received in a timely manner. Legal administrative assistants can also work for judges.
An executive assistant has expanded duties. Besides doing all the paperwork, correspondence, filing etc., these assistants are responsible for the executive’s calendar, and usually are required to handle any company banking. Executive administrative assistants have been known to handle the personal affairs of their very busy boss. Ordering catering service for busy lunch meetings, Christmas baskets for clients and managing company events are also a part of the job. Executive administrative assistants make anywhere from $45000.00 – $60,000.00.
Administrative assistants keep offices running smoothly. They make sure all necessary correspondence is completed, that guests are greeted and announced, take messages, book appointments, clear the afternoon schedule when requested and even send flowers to the boss’s wife on his behalf when required. Keeping track of data, maintaining health and safety rules, and ensuring all new hires make it through orientation are all part of the job. Who knows, maybe this could be your new career!
Administrative assistants are in high demand across Canadian business markets. For a look at top markets for admin assistants visit www.administrativeassistantresume.ca.

The goal of Insurance Association of America is to provide a broad range of services and plans to meet the needs of all Americans. You deserve the best, and we hope to provide you with that, and a little more with our FAQ's: Vitamin C, ascorbic acid, is one of the most important vitamins found in citrus juices, including OJ. First Critical. The body only soaks up five percent of vitamins from pills or pills the rest is flushed down the toilet. Discover how you can absorb 98%. Look at the bottom of this page.
Testing for vitamin C levels in different forms of orange juice is also a favorite science project for many scholars. Thanks to the limited available references on vitamin C levels in citrus juices and how it degrades over time , this web site will attempt to provide some information on the topic to help students find extra references for their science projects.
Vitamin C. Frequently projects find that orange juices made of frozen concentrated orange ( FCOJ ) have the highest vitamin C levels in comparison to freshly squeezed or not-from-concentrate ( NFC ) juices. This is thanks to the fact that vitamin C degrades over time in fresh and NFC, but doesn’t degrade as much in FCOJ due to it being frozen until reconstitution. If one is comparing a NFC product that has been stored for about three weeks vs a newly reconstituted FCOJ, the FCOJ would surely have a higher vitamin C concentration.
Also one other thing to consider is if the FCOJ is reconstituted to the same strength as fresh or NFC. If one doesn’t add enough water, then the vitamin C ( and other compounds ) would be more concentrated. Another consideration is that the vitamin C content changes thru the crop season and orange variety also plays a part. Since most FCOJ is blended to a larger extent than some NFCs, it is totally possible the NFC is produced from a variety / season which has lower vitamin C content.
According to Nagy and Smoot, temperature and storage time is affecting the percent of vitamin C content of orange fruits and juice. Alternative types of oranges also have various levels of vitamin C. The mid-season variety, Pineapple Orange had the loftiest levels, followed by the primary early-season variety, Hamlin Orange. The late-season Valencia Orange had the lowest vitamin C content. Additionally, it was discovered that the longer the Valencia Orange fruit stayed on the tree, the lower the vitamin C level. ( Additional details on these orange kinds can be discovered from links in
The story of Florida Orange Juice – from the Grove to Your Glass. ) Nagy and Smoot also revealed that in juice containers, vitamin C loss was due to oxidization by a residual air layer surrounded in the container during processing. The loss was faster in the first two weeks and was more clear at higher storage temperatures. Therefore , orange must be kept cool to prevent vitamin C degradation as it is sped up at high storage temperatures. .

Myrciaria dubia ) This ingredient can be discovered in : Pop A Purple Pop A Green Camu camu is a little purple-red fruit from a little tree that grows in the Amazon rainforest. This tasty fruit has highly raised quantities of Vitamin C ( 2.43.0 grams per 100 grams of fruit ), as well as major amounts of potassium, calcium, magnesium, zinc, and B vitamins. Vitamin C is not just the most urgent anti oxidant purchased from food, it’s also a strong anti inflammatory agent that may defend against many chronic medical conditions. Furthermore, camu camu exerts stronger healing effects than synthesized additions with equivalent vitamin C content.
One reason for this effect is that camu camu contains numerous other antioxidant and anti-inflammatory substances like carotenoids and anthocyanines that seem to intensify its healing effects. Additionally, the heavy levels of potassium found in camu camu increase vitamin C absorption.

The goal of Insurance Association of America is to provide a broad range of services and plans to meet the needs of all Americans. You deserve the best, and we hope to provide you with that, and a little more with our FAQ's: If you’re running across issues with vitamin D deficiency, you’ll be interested to find something out about vitamin D deficiency treatment. Let’s imagine that vitamin D dose required for standard working of your body is kind of high. If vitamin D deficiency happens, it requires a couple of steps to normalize vitamin D levels in one’s body.
Vitamin D deficiency treatment is dependent on how significant your condition is, that’s to point out how low your vitamin D levels are. If the deficiency is mild, it is plain that your daily vitamin D intake will last for not exceedingly long time ( from 4 to 12 weeks ) and your dose will be lower. In cases of grim vitamin D deficiency, the dose will be significant higher and the whole treatment will last longer. The treatment could be composed from additions taken by mouth or vitamin D injections.
You should not be stunned if your well-being expert prescribes truly high dose as it will take time and effort to get your vitamin D levels back to standard. But although your dose may appear too high for you, you shouldn’t worry too much because overdose is very rare. If you are on treatment to clear up that difficulty, you can definitely go to check your condition often enough so you’ll know if you are making progress. We have already written about vitamin D deficiency causes and other topical facts related to that problem. Vitamin D deficiency symptoms have lately been explained and you want to discover something about them also. If you know what may cause the deficiency and if you’re able to recognize the symptoms, it’ll be less complicated for you to react in time and start therapy. Also, if you understand what causes this condition, it is going to be easier for you to stop it.
Vitamin D level that’s considered standard is 50 nmol / L and more. If you have twenty-five nmol / L or maybe less, it signals you lack this vitamin. It is diagnosed through blood tests and X-rays so as to see whether there are some things wrong with one’s bones. If there are concerns about any other problem you will need to endure more tests. The most vital thing is to run all of the compulsory test and research to discern what has caused the deficiency, because that difficulty regularly signals a sickness. As we claimed, the treatment might be composed of taking vitamin D additions which can on occasion be found in the kinds of capsules or liquids. This is more easy plan and less unpleasant, naturally. The other system of treating vitamin D deficiency is injecting. One injection will be sufficient for next five to 6 months.
It is said to be very efficient. This tactic is very convenient and makes the whole thing simple, as you don’t need to take vitamin D tablets or liquids every day. Irrespective of the system that’ll be used, you can select whether to take your dose daily, weekly or monthly. This is kind of individual and relies on other things. Your GP will tell you.

The goal of Insurance Association of America is to provide a broad range of services and plans to meet the needs of all Americans. You deserve the best, and we hope to provide you with that, and a little more with our FAQ's: Vitamin B12 is necessary to each cell and system, including the blood and nerve system.
Low levels of vitamin B12 ( as well as foliate and vitamin B6 ) are linked with raised levels of homocysteine, an amino acid that, at raised levels, is connected with a raised risk of coronary illness and stroke and could also perform a part in age-implicated psychological decline and dementia.
Vitamin B12 is found naturally only in foods of animal origin ; plenty of other foods are buttressed with it. The body can store big quantities. Claims, alleged benefits : Vitamin B12 suppresses confusion and memory loss in older folks, protects the heart, peps you up, particularly when given as injections. Treats canker sores. Bottom line : many people over age 50 don’t produce enough stomach acid to adequately absorb Vitamin B12.
A bad diet and heavy drinking can also make a contribution to a deficiency. Vegans ( who eat no animal products ) and people with intestinal sicknesses may also be in trouble. Oppressive Vitamin B12 deficiency may lead to perplexity, memory loss, shivering and weakness in the limbs, hallucinations, and listlessness.
A much rarer but more important sort of B12 deficiency that will happen at all ages is pernicious anemia, in which the stomach virtually stops manufacturing acid and a protein also needed for assimilation ( natural factor ), so that nearly no B12 from food is soaked up. Initially this can cause anemia, but finally, when Vitamin B12 stores are exhausted, there could be irrevocable damage caused to the nerve system.
Blood tests can diagnose a Vitamin B12 deficiency ; high quantities of B12 can correct it. Older people need 6 to 15 micrograms of B12 daily ( the RDA is just 2.4 micrograms ), simply purchased from food or a multi-vitamin. Most multi sold for seniors have 25 or thirty micrograms. Unless you have been diagnosed as deficient you don’t want additional augmentation.
